‘LEAVE IT ALONE’

JW Paris are a band who’s sound has been developing from literally birth, with Aaron (Vocals/Bass) and Danny (Vocals/Guitar) knowing each other like brothers growing up, as their Dad’s were in the EMI signed band Choke throughout the 90’s.

Aaron and Danny have gone from forming their sound in a 24-hour storage lock-up (then being kicked out) to now anywhere that will let them play loud. The band have been taken even more forward with the arrival of Gemma (formerly of Babyshambles) behind the drums.

The 90’s grunge Britpop inspired three-piece band are now back with their most personal song to date having recorded a heartfelt anthem that encapsulates the struggles and triumphs of self-discovery, reminding us all to embrace our imperfections and find solace within ourselves.

The band say that “ “Leave It Alone” is a deeply personal song that reflects our own inner journey of self-discovery and acceptance. With honest lyrics and a haunting melody, it invites our audience and listeners on an introspective exploration of identity and the longing for inner peace.”

“Leave it Alone” follows JW Paris’ first EP and is a heavier look into how we all question our own reality and look for redemption from mistakes we’ve made in the past. The song features lyrics that question who we are as people on the inside and out.

The track is released today (9th June) on Blaggers Records.

The song was recorded at Buffalo Studios, produced by JB Pilon and mastered by 2023 award-winning engineer at Air Studios, Cicely Balston.

JW Paris’s previous singles have been featured with nationwide radio play on Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), John Kennedy (Radio X), Frankie (Amazing Radio UK & USA) Frank Skinner (Absolutely Radio) and made it onto the Radio X playlist. JW Paris was featured on the ‘New In Rock’ Apple Music playlist.

JW Paris have been described as sounding like ‘Joy Division’ and ‘where gritty meets swaggery’, by Chris Hawkins (6 Music) and ‘face-melting riff’s by Jack Saunders (Radio 1).
