HOW CAN I HELP YOU

PATCHWORK DOTS are a lo-fi acoustic indie rock collective from South Yorkshire fronted by Paul Jones.

Originally from Barnsley; living in South Yorkshire; Paul has been writing and releasing music independently through paTChwOrk reCorDs Ltd since 2022. . 

Patchwork Dots features Paul Jones  on vocals, guitars and  bass and  Lennon Wild on drums, backing vocals and percussion. 

Previous releases have included ‘Fool’ (June 22) ‘Magic Show’ (Sept 22) ‘Talk It Through’ (Dec 22) ‘Fruit Of The Boom’ (March 23) and ‘Don’t Hang Around’ (April 23) which received the artist praise from the likes of BBC Introducing and garnered press accreditations such as:

“A laid back, well worn vocal style full of character and depth” with songs leaving a “lasting impact”; “not to be thrown away” in “today’s disposable society” – Accidental Music Reviewer

Paul and Lennon are now back with their latest offering the alt indie fast paced rock anthem of ‘How Can I Help You’. 

‘How Can I Help You’ Is a delightful slice of indie rock pie, with its building and sweeping drum beats coupled with funky bass notes and pure soft rock vocals, we can see why this band have previously been hailed as a “Mellower Queens Of The Stone Age”.

Paul has said of the track:

“How Can I Help You” is an Alternative Rock track taken from the upcoming Debut Album “A Little Bit of Make Believe” and is the 7th Single independently released under paTChwOrk reCorDs.

A song for the On-and-Off-Again’s in a world of Make Believe; inspired by past and shared experiences and written from the subconscious; the acoustic/clean guitar part forms the core structure with bass, guitars and drums developed in the studio. 

The music is inspired by many artists but again subconsciously focuses on acoustic-led-fingerpicked-rhythmic-chord progressions along with player-focused bass lines and improvised drums.”
