THE FEELING

Formed in the West Midlands during the latter part of 2020, Finding Bella are the five piece indie rock band consisting of Oli White on Vocals/Guitar, Simon Black on Guitar, Ben White on Keys/Synth/Vocals, Liam Hadfield on Bass and John Woodward on Drums.

From their very inception the band simply burst onto the Birmingham music scene, quickly gaining traction and fans by performing at iconic venues such as the O2 Academy and The Sunflower Lounge.

Releasing their debut single “Good Right Now” in February 2022 (42,572 Spotify streams) which was nominated for ‘Crags Radio Listeners Choice Single Of The Year’ the band released two further singles in the same year, “Set It Off” in July 2022 (45,933 spotify steams) & ‘Drama Kids’ in September 2022 which went onto win ‘Switch Radio’s Single of the Year 2022’. The band also came third in ‘Radio Wigwam’s Band Of The Year 2022 awards’.

With solid foundations put in place over the last year, 2023 sees the band set to continue on their upwards trajectory with the release of their debut EP, the first single from which, ‘The Feeling’ was released in August.

‘The Feeling’ gets down to business from the get-go with a drum driven beat and psychedelic rhythm guitar section. The first single from Finding Bella’s upcoming EP leads you into a story where you, as the listener, long to hear the last chapter.

Melodic verses and a lead line that echoes throughout carry you to crystal clear keys in an emotional breakdown before leading you back into the singalong chorus hook lines.

The primary track on this EP keeps listeners wedged between a rocky beat and a hard bass, leaving its audience knowing one thing by the finale…That.This.Is.The Feeling!!

The band have said of the track:

“Not only is ‘The Feeling’ the first track on our debut EP, it is also the first track we completed when we sat down and started writing the EP at the beginning of 2023.

The song centres around a motif of freedom, and the emotions that come as a result of detaching yourself from a past or previous “weight” in life, and more importantly, about moving on to better things.”

‘The Feeling’ was written collectively by the band and was mixed and produced by Ryan Pinson at RML Studios, Wolverhampton and Mastered by Andy Baldwin from Metropolis Mastering.

The debut EP from Finding Bella entitled ‘Bad Influences’ is a collection of five brand new tracks including ‘The Feeling’ which is scheduled for release in September 2023.
