RELEASE ‘FALLING THROUGH’ & ANNOUNCE SHOULD’VE KNOWN BETTER – ALBUM

KillerStar is a new band garnering attention in the indie scene. A collaboration between Rob Fleming and James Sedge, the group brings together a mix of classic rock vibes and a bit of art rock flair. Their upcoming self-titled album features a host of musicians who’ve worked with David Bowie, including Gail Ann Dorsey and Earl Slick. They have an intriguing blend of old and new, with a nod to the 70s and a modern twist with synths and catchy hooks.

Their second single, “Falling Through,” was released on November 4th and has received positive feedback. The track showcases a harmonious blend of melody and lyrics sure to captivate listeners. Its artistic merit is a testament to the band’s musical prowess and creative vision.  Fleming’s vocals have a nice touch, giving the song a bit of an edge, while the drumming from Sedge provides a strong backbone to the track. It’s interesting to see how the band balances their influences, mixing a bit of that classic rock feel with something a bit fresher. The Bowie collaborators add a nice layer to the music, but “Falling Through” is still very much a KillerStar song.

Overall, KillerStar has definitely piqued my interest. They have a knack for blending classic and contemporary elements in their music, and “Falling Through” is a solid example of their versatility. It’s always refreshing to see new bands trying to do something a bit different, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else they come up with. KillerStar seems like a band worth keeping an eye on.
