“‘Tallulah’ is a distorted, dystopian swirling soundscape filled with huge fuzzing, scuzzing reverbing guitar riffs and raw, gravelly vocals …..There’s an unbridled passion with this track a raw energy that fills the room, its sinister and wholly thrilling in equal measure.”
Sammy Vincent is a singer/songwriter hailing from the Kentish coast and now resident in the musical mecca that is Camden Town in London.
Building off the back of the success of his EP release ‘So I Know, So I’m Told’ (featuring 7 tracks released in December 2022) and supporting Hak Baker on his UK Tour, Sammy Vincent returned to his creative hub, The Libertine’s HQ: The Albion Rooms in Margate to write and record his upcoming EP ‘Regents’ with the multi award winning in-house sound engineer Jason Stafford.

The first release to be taken from the upcoming ‘Regents’ EP is the powerful hook laden, modern punk anthem of ‘Tallulah’.
‘Tallulah’ is a distorted, dystopian swirling soundscape filled with huge fuzzing, scuzzing reverbing guitar riffs and raw, gravelly vocals. There’s a hint of blues mixed in with decidedly punk sounds, creating A multi-layered tapestry of sound. There’s an unbridled passion with this track a raw energy that fills the room, its sinister and wholly thrilling in equal measure.

The official music video to ‘Tallulah’ was recently also released. Shot and edited by Harry Lee, it features Sammy in and around Margate and Camden taking in the sights of somewhat faded grandeur. Its flits between black and white and colour and is filmed in a “behind the scenes” style as if we’re intruding on private moments between friends. Its got a very carefree vibe to it, contrasting with the almost gothic heaviness of the track itself.
Watch the official video to ‘Tallulah‘ here now.
‘Tallulah’ was mixed and mastered by Daniel Connolly and is available now on Launderette Records.
