The crowd was bouncing this Easter weekend in Glasgow as Australian electronic rock band, Pendulum, took to The OVO Hydro stage on Sunday Evening!

Formed in Perth, Australia in 2002, Pendulum is now currently made up of members Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, Peredur ap Gwynedd, KJ Sawka and Paul Harding and my god do they bring the vibes!

After the crowd was thoroughly warmed up by support acts DJ “ShockOne” and English rapper “Scarlxrd” before Pendulum brought the house down! Kicking off their set with bangers such as “Napalm”, “Crush” and “Propane Nightmares”, had the crowd absolutely bursting with energy!

Halfway through the set we had some special guests; Shout out to the Limmy visuals (Scottish comedian) that were hilarious and so unexpected! As well as “Scarlxrd” coming back on to lend his phenomenal vocals to the tune “Mercy Killing”.

The crowd was on top form and I may have fallen into a mosh pit once or twice. It was absolutely electric. Ending their set with the classics “Tarantula”, “The Tempest” and my personal favourite “Watercolour”, left us feeling out of breath, a wee bit sweaty but so bloody satisfied.

Next time Pendulum are in town, I would recommend you get yourself a ticket. After seeing them at Download Festival in 2023 and this week at the Hydro, I can confirm that these guys know how to party!
