Crook On The Wall are the exciting young Manchester based band who are already making a name for themselves as ‘ones to watch’ on the new music circuit.

Despite band members ranging from ages 15-17 years of age, Crook On The Wall are a band who are although only at the start of their career and for realising their full potential are most definitely at the start of something very exciting.

Their first single ‘Imperial Mind’ was picked up and played by John Kennedy on his X-Posure show on Radio X and they’ve enjoyed sold out gigs in their hometown at the likes of Manchester Academy and Manchester Rebellion.

Being entirely self-managed and funded Crook On The Wall are making great leaps ahead in their somewhat tender career.

The brand new release ‘These Cracked Streets’ immediately catches the listeners attention with its fast, intricate drums and heavy energetic guitar riffs and thumping bass notes.

The new single shows a coming of age for the band showcasing a more mature sound and a new found skill of musicianship. With the release of ‘These Cracked Streets’ we really feel that the band has grown as a whole.

When asked about the track, the band have said:-

“The song focuses its meaning on growing up around the streets of Manchester, with emphasis towards the movement of “living in the now,” hence the lyrics “Let them decide how they should rule the world” in the chorus. This song highlights the band’s nature as currently underground artists who sing about what they know that can only be found from building from the roots upward. “

With much more material scheduled to be released, ‘These Cracked Streets’ is just the start of what us sure to be a very exciting 2024 for the Manchester lads.

You can catch Crook On The Wall’ at “Venture Fest” on the July 27th with further dates and venues to be announced via the band’s socials.
