Hailing from the North West of England, Muddy Elephant are a 4-piece indie band with a sound that fuses infectious melodies, introspective lyrics, and raw energy, this talented band is poised to make waves in the music scene this year.

At the forefront of the band is Sam, the lead vocalist and master of rhythm guitar. Complementing Sam’s vocals is Matt, on bass guitar and backing vocals. Carlos takes the lead guitar duties, and Harry drives the heartbeat of the band on drums.

The band have been gaining some serious momentum, all thanks to their fan’s undying support, having played venues such as The Cavern Club, Manchester Academy 3, and The Deaf Institute as well as selling out multiple headline shows and supporting the likes of Reverend and the Makers, Scouting For Girls, The Darkness and Busted.

That band are set to drop their new single ’18’ on the 14th of June which is an absolute indie banger.

18′ is a nostalgic and relatable song written by Sam that reflects on the carefree days of being a teenager. The inspiration behind ’18’ stems from Sam’s experience at Barn On The Farm in 2023 and his reflection on the freedom and joy of being 18 with no real responsibilities.

The theme of reminiscing about youth and the simplicity of that time in life is a common and relatable topic for many people. ’18’ will resonate with listeners who can empathise with the sentiment of wishing to go back to a time when life was less complicated and full of possibilities.

’18’ is out on the 14th of June and is available to pre-save now!
