Located at the Gibson showroom in the heart of Oxford Street, an intimate crowd eagerly awaited to hear acoustic versions of tracks from the upcoming Rifles album ‘Love Your Neighbour’. The event celebrated the launch of the new West Ham football club kit with the band’s highly anticipated release.

Stoker sporting the kit, pinched an Epiphone Hummingbird from the wall and is accompanied by the band’s lead guitarist Lucas Crowther. First up is ‘Sweet Euphoria’, with Joel joking that he would ‘have a go at it’ after only a half an hour rehearsal and that it was previously unheard. The track will accompany the launch film for the new West Ham kit, it’s a catchy tune that would sit comfortably in the West Ham stands.

Next is ‘The Kids Won’t Stop’ the opening track from their forthcoming album. The track’s fast pace is reminiscent of The Jam and will go down a storm at future gigs. Joel finished the set of new songs with ‘Day’s of our Lives’ an acoustic ballad, with a singalong chorus that had the intimate audience joining in despite hearing it for the first time.

To top off the session, the duo performed their fan favourite ‘Local Boy’ from their debut album ‘No Love Lost’, which went down a storm with the intimate audience.

The pair remarked that it was ‘a privilege to be asked’ to collaborate with West Ham and expressed their thanks to Gibson for hosting the event.
