Revivalry is a band on the rise, fresh off making history as the youngest band ever to perform on the main stage at Kendal Calling. Their latest single, “Two Sips,” is a guitar-fueled journey into the heart of a chaotic house party. The track captures the raw energy and confusion of youth, with a Northern edge that’s unmistakably Revivalry.
The song’s narrative unfolds like a wild night out, as the protagonist navigates the throes of first loves, first drinks, and fist fights. It’s a blend of excitement and fear, all wrapped up.
The band’s songwriting process is as intense as their music. “It started with a riff, as it nearly always does,” they share. Ben’s perfectionism, Josh’s drive, and Lewis’s laid-back approach create a dynamic that’s both challenging and rewarding, resulting in a sound that’s as cohesive as it is powerful.
Revivalry’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. In just a year, they’ve shared stages with legends like Reverend & The Makers, The Reytons, and The Lathums, and have become fixtures at festivals like Kendal Calling, Tramlines Fringe, and Humber Street Sesh. Their debut single, “The Town,” quickly found a home on Apple Music’s New In Rock playlist.
Signed to Manchester indie label Cosmic Glue, Revivalry is carving out a unique space in the alternative music scene. Inspired by Nirvana, Supergrass, and Arctic Monkeys, their music is a potent mix of youthful rebellion and raw authenticity.
