Shed Seven have today (8th October) announced a series of outdoor summer shows as part of the Sounds Of The City 2025. The series will take in Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on Friday 4th July and Leeds Millennium Square on Friday 11th July.  The band will be joined on these dates by the Lightning Seeds and The Sherlocks.

Shed Seven will further perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 14th June 2025 with special guests Jake Bugg and Cast as part of TK MAXX Presents.

Hailing from York, Shed Seven released their debut album ‘Change Giver’ in 1994, the same which is to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. Emerging as one of the most iconic bands during the heyday of Britpop, the band’s catalogue of hits has seen them gain seven Top 20 hits including classics such as ‘Going For Gold’, ‘Chasing Rainbows’, ‘Disco Down’ and ‘On Standby. as well as six Top 10 albums.

Shed Seven’s latest orchestral album ‘Liquid Gold’ also hit the top spot as it gained them a number one placement last week being their second number one album of 2024 following the earlier release in January of ‘A Matter of Time‘, making Shed Seven one of only 20 artists to achieve this incredible milestone.

The band have also been announced as the first champions of National Album Day which returns on Saturday 19th October 2024. More details can be found HERE
