LONDON GHOST – RELEASE NEW SINFGLE – ‘RISE N MOVE’

London Ghost is a rock ‘n’ roll collective band led by the charismatic singer and guitarist Edd Whyte. Joining his first band at 16, ‘Delinquents’ fronted by Steve Dior, an underground punk legend who played in bands with members of New York Dolls and The Sex Pistols. A blessing of an introduction to the music world to learn so much so young from such a talented songwriter and performer like Dior who inspired Edd greatly.

After the ‘Delinquents’ era, Whyte went on to form ‘Pink Cigar’ who became notorious in the London rock scene for explosive live shows. A chaotic career followed, littered with highs and lows with some great achievements such as releasing two albums, playing Glastonbury and touring America along with Europe.

Now wanting to do something new, Edd formed London Ghost from the ashes of Pink Cigar and his previous life. Recruiting one of the mainstays of the collective, the very talented multi instrumentalist ‘Mike Serapinas’ who has also lived a similar life to Edd, growing up in London and battle hardened in the music game.

London Ghost is all about making great, hard hitting catchy rock n roll songs that draw influences from new sounds which raise you spiritually and physically, high energy fun filled live shows and plenty of humour, with direct and relatable lyrics that sometimes loosely tell the story of the highs and lows of the colourful life Edd has lived. Millions have a similar story in a million different places but London Ghost’s story is set in the capital. Long may it continue.

The Rock ‘N’ Roll collective signed with Blaggers Records (The Skinner Brothers, JW Paris) earlier this year and will release their debut EP early 2025.

The first single from the EP titled ‘Rise ‘N’ Move‘ is a high energy, spirit raising infectious rock monster, recorded at Metropolis Studios and produced by Ben Harper.

Edd (Vocalist) says of the single, ‘It’s a hard hitting fun song with a great groove that has positive lyrics’.

London Ghost will be spreading their fun filled explosive live show across the nation following the release of Rise ‘N’ Move with a UK tour set to be announced soon.

With over 160 000 streams already clocked up on Spotify, some great reviews from Classic Rock Magazine and other outlets, as well as generating much excitement online and from live performances in the UK, France and Germany – London Ghost’s debut EP is highly anticipated to see where these new songs will take them.
