London based Alt-Rock power trio Bottomless Brunch return with their fourth single ‘Freak’.

Following the success of singles ‘Pawn’, ‘Bite Your Tongue’ and ‘Rocket Fuel’, Bottomless Brunch has captured the attention of music lovers and critics alike, gaining airplay on Radio X (John Kennedy), BBC Introducing, Sirius XM (Steven Van Zandt – E-Street Band), and landing on the Amazing Radio’s A-List.

The name ‘Bottomless Brunch’ was born as an antidote to the sometimes pretentious and self-centred tendencies in heavier genres. The somewhat tongue-in-cheek name is well suited to the character and image of Tyler (Vocals, Guitars), Tim (Bass, Vocals) and Jake (Drums) and rings true to the wit required in the creative process when aiming for the influences evident in the bands’ sound.

Tyler Adams (vocals/guitar) had this to say on the track: ”Freak describes how twisted and warped anxiety can be.

I reached a very dark place, which fortunately now exists only in my past. A big part of that recovery process was writing this song. But I will never forget how stuck you can feel when all you know is anxiety – and in some sick way your anxieties become your home and it can feel daunting to leave.

There’s some dark lyrics in this song that at first seemed abrupt but as we built the instrumentation into a new dimension sonically, it quickly became a part of the people we are becoming.”
