The 355’s were brought together by a mutual love of 90’s guitar driven bangers and Northern Soul grooves. They are comprised of Adam Thompsett (vocals & guitars), Craig Lockwood (vocals, guitars & keyboards), Robert Hammond (bass & vocals) and Mike Fitchie (drums).

The band formed in 2023 and self-released their debut EP, Jig-A-Jig Out, in which the title track shot to number 11 in the UK single charts. Reviewing the track on the Matt Mogan podcast, Noel Gallagher said, ‘I bet they sound fucking great live.’

Working with producer Nick Brine, (Oasis, Stone Roses, Ash) The 355’s have released their latest single, Always You.

Always You is a step change for the band. If Jig-A-Jig Out and the rumbunctious Piss On My Party are city-dwellers, constantly on the lookout for an opportunity to raise the stakes of a night out, then Always You is a move to the country.

Clean reverberated notes are a constant in Always You, interspersed with some subtle Champagne Supernova- inspired licks. In the first minute, or so, the spirt of 90’s pop culture is captured entirely with these two simple elements at the core of Always You.

The music video for Always You raises the emotional stakes further as a lost Lockwood walks around a lake playing his guitar, seemingly mourning his actions that have led him to this point.

As Always You picks up sonically, he gets into the lake fully clothed and still playing in a bid to wash away that clutching guilt. The track closes out with some Country-inspired vocals that marry with the reverberated chords, as Lockwood emerges from the lake and is embraced.
