TRNSMT returns to Glasgow Green this summer, from July 11th to 13th. With 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro, and Snow Patrol headlining, as well as Gracie Abrams, Fontaines DC, and The Script, the weekend promises to be jam-packed with pop stars, electric guitars, and more. But will this year’s lineup live up to the expectations of previous years?

Friday
Kicking off the weekend, Friday will be a day to remember as legendary rapper 50 Cent takes to Glasgow Green. Expect a high-energy performance featuring his classic hits like “In Da Club” and “Candy Shop”, which will surely get the crowd hyped. I reckon his set will go down in TRNSMT history!
Just before him will be The Script, who will bring their anthemic pop-rock sound with numerous British anthems, including “Breakeven” and “Hall of Fame”, ensuring a night full of sing-alongs and heartfelt moments. Scottish rock superstars Twin Atlantic will also be making their long-awaited return to TRNSMT alongside Wet Leg, Jamie Webster and Schoolboy Q.
Over on the King Tuts stage, expect a high-energy set packed with backflips, jumps, spins and just about anything you can think of from Australian duo Confidence Man and a debut TRNSMT appearance from Tanner Adell, an upcoming country star featured on Beyoncé’s album of the year, “Cowboy Carter”. Last but not least, we have the controversial trio Kneecap, but let’s leave that conversation there.
Saturday
It’s on to Saturday, and this lineup is an indie-rock fan’s heaven. Irish superstars Fontaines DC, followed by Scottish rock legends Biffy Clyro? Talk about a two-in-one punch!! Joining this stellar lineup are The Kooks, Inhaler, and Wunderhorse, and this is unbelievable. Just looking at this main stage lineup does not feel real whatsoever.
But if that doesn’t tempt you enough, upcoming pop sensation Alessi Rose will also appear on the main stage shortly after finishing her support slot for Dua Lipa in stadiums. But don’t worry, pop fans, that’s not all you’ve got! Sigrid will also be returning and will surely bring in the crowd like she has done year after year!
Sunday:
The legendary band Snow Patrol, known for heartbreaking ballads like “Chasing Cars” and “Run”, will headline on Sunday. Fans are sure to be experiencing every emotion under the sun, and this is the perfect way to close such a memorable weekend. Joining them is international pop star Gracie Abrams, whose heartfelt tracks such as “Close To You”, “That’s So True”, and “I Miss You, I’m Sorry” have captivated millions around the world. The second she was announced, I knew this would be a great day and wow. I was not wrong! It sold out the quickest of the weekend, and fans are coming from across the globe to see Gracie!
But just before Gracie takes to the Green, “JADE”, who rose to fame as part of the world-famous girl group Little Mix, will be delivering a truly life-changing solo set, packed with hits such as “Angel Of My Dreams”, “FUFN (Fuck You For Now) and Midnight Cowboy, showcasing her vocal talent and solidifying her “It Girl” status.
But if that’s not good enough, Nieve Ella will return alongside Brit Award winner Myles Smith. Then, over on the BBC Introducing stage, rising star Ben Ellis will make his TRNSMT debut alongside Nell Mescal, Matilda Mann, and several other upcoming stars.
But don’t worry, folks. The boogie bar hasn’t gone anywhere; it’s just been renamed the R1 Dance Stage! So if this never-ending list of incredible artists doesn’t appeal to you, there’s a bunch of DJs over on the dance stage blasting out tunes all day long.
Here are some of my favourite songs I recommend from artists playing this year!

“21” – Gracie Abrams
