In support of his latest album, ‘The Concrete Jangle’ featuring five songs co-written with Andy Partridge of XTC

Renowned New York City rocker Steve Conte—best known for his work with the New York Dolls and Michael Monroe—has announced a string of UK headline shows this summer in support of his latest album, The Concrete Jangle.
The five-date tour kicks off Tuesday, 3rd June 2025 at Six Six in Cambridge, before heading to Margate, Brighton, and Bristol, and wrapping up on Saturday, 8th June at the legendary Dublin Castle in London.
Conte’s new record, The Concrete Jangle, is out now on Wicked Cool Records (the label founded by Steven Van Zandt). Featuring five co-writes with Andy Partridge of XTC, the album showcases Conte’s signature blend of gritty rock, blues, and Americana, and has already drawn widespread praise from fans and critics alike.

Steve Conte shares:
“I am SUPER excited to be coming back to England to play for the first time since 2018! I’ve been itching to get back onstage with my guitar to sing in the country that’s home to so much of my favorite music…
This time around, I’ll be performing songs from both ‘Bronx Cheer’ and ‘The Concrete Jangle’—two albums that were written and released during the pandemic and have yet to be played live outside the U.S. These records, released on ‘Little Steven’ Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records, even earned praise from legends like Ian Hunter and Lenny Kaye.
Expect high-energy rock ‘n’ roll with the melodies and style that harken back to the late ’70s/early ’80s—whether it’s NYC’s Lower East Side or King’s Road in London. Come out and hear for yourself!”
