The last night of Forest Live in Delamere Forest was truly a grand finale of what has been a very special run of shows. The Blossoms headlined and had amazing support from both ‘The Guest list’ and ‘Seb Lowe’.

The night kicked off with The Guest list band performing their set list  and they did not disappoint. The Guest list is a Manchester-based indie rock band that was formed in 2021 and their shows this summer do not stop at Delamere forest. They are performing at more major festivals including Glastonbury and TRNSMT. This band has truly taken off and their breakthrough is not stopping anytime soon. They performed ‘Plasticine Heart’, ‘161’ and their highly anticipated single ‘Mary’ which will be released on July 4th.

Seb Lowe followed and his amazing band took to the stage with his politically charged music and theatrical performance style. His popularity has grown since the pandemic hit and he moved from a solo career to building his own band featuring the electric violinist Kate Couriel. They kicked off their set with ‘Here Comes The Aliens!’ which was a huge crowd pleaser Seb Lowe and his band are a perfect fit for a stage of that capacity. The set also included songs such as ‘A Westerner Walks into a Bar’ and their newest release ‘Football Players’. They have definitely gained a lot of new fans from this performance especially after their last song and biggest hit ‘Terms and Conditions’ which went viral on tiktok and got the love that it deserves.

Then Stockport’s finest, The Blossoms took to the stage, the crowd was packed and everyone was up on their feet. The Blossoms are some of the best performers; Tom Ogden the lead singer does not stay still and engages with the crowd constantly which contributes to how lively the crowd is. They concluded their tour with Inhaler in May and went straight into their summer shows and festivals starting with a performance at BBC radio 1 big weekend. The Blossoms are truly such a special band and are a big influence on a lot of up and coming bands because of both their music as well as performance style. Every song they played was sung back to them from the audience, who knew every word. Before they came on stage ‘Don’t you want me’ by the Human League played and it certainly set the stage for the band and got the audience excited.

They kicked off the show with arguably their biggest hit ‘My Girlfriend’; the crowd was electric and promised a show that was not one to miss. The audience was captivated by the whole set and the Blossoms’ renowned high energy performance was maintained throughout the show. They played hit songs from all of their albums, Gary, Blossoms, Cool like you, Foolish Loving Spaces and Ribbon Around the Bomb.

The captivated audience was filled with all ages and they ended with their hit ‘I Like Your Look’. However, they reappeared for an encore and performed a few songs and then their last song ‘Gary’ which included a special guest the gorilla Gary which delighted members of the audience.

The Blossoms are definitely one to experience live at one of their shows. Catch them at one of their summer shows, festivals or tour early 2026.
