PLUS ANNOUNCE SONGBIRD MEDICINE SHOW TOUR

A new style collaborative live show will grace UK stages over the next couple of weeks. Jack Francis and Hattie Whitehead are coming together and touring as part of the ‘Songbird Medicine Show Tour’ (Not in any affiliated with The Songbird HQ btw, although cool name!).

The tour aims to bring singer-songwriters and audiences together in an intimate, collaborative setting.

Inspired by the spirit of a late-night gathering around the kitchen table, each event invites listeners into a warm, welcoming space, where stories are shared, songs are stripped back and connection is everything.

The debut Songbird Medicine Show Tour features two of the UKs most compelling contemporary voices, Hattie Whitehead and Jack Francis.

Acclaimed for their honesty and craft, both artists will perform a handpicked selection of their finest songs, accompanied by a shared ensemble of their favourite musicians.

The evening culminates in a special collaborative set, where the featured performers come together to reimagine songs, swap verses and celebrate the spirit of musical kinship that defines these shows.

As part of the tour, the duo has released a collaborative cover of the ‘Talking Heads’ track, ‘This Must be the Place’. A glimpse of what’s to come on the tour, the pair harmonise their way through the verses and chorus together.

The pair will be sharing the same group of musicians on the tour and will also be participating in each other’s performances.

Whitehead released her debut album, ‘Bloom’, in October 2024. The folk, acoustic album layered with electronic beats for a modern feel.

Francis now has 2 albums under his belt, 2022’s self-titled debut and 2024’s ‘Early Retirement’. His sound blends folk, soul, country and Americana, often drawing on classic influences and themes of emotional storytelling.
