This Feeling by the Sea 2026
This Feeling by the Sea worked its way to becoming a key date in the calendar for fans of indie music, and this year’s lineup is the most stacked yet.
Now in its 4 th year, this weekend escape into up-and-coming indie rock heaven has raised the bar with a stacked lineup, topped with headliner The Lilacs and The Clause.
Held at the seaside ballroom in Bridlington Spa, this year it takes shape ahead of festival season on April 17 th and 18 th . A perfect way to digest indie music ahead of the string of summer dates.
This Feeling founder Mikey Jonns says, “We’re really proud of this one. Once again every act on the bill has started off with us in a grassroots venue, the journey from the grassroots to the iconic Bridlington Spa and it makes for the most glorious
atmosphere. Tickets are already flying out! Thanks for all your support, we’ll see you By The Sea!”
Friday night headliners, The Lilacs, are a perfect example of the work that This Feeling do for up-and-coming acts. This year has been no different for them, playing huge slots at Isle of Wight Festival,
YNOT Festival and supporting Sting.
Vocalist/guitarist Ollie Anglesea says, “We first played this festival back in 2023(where a lot of you first found us) and we always knew one day we would be headlining it. Now that time has come. We will be headlining 2026 on the Friday. This is a great festival, with a mega line up so grab a ticket.”
Headlining the Saturday night is Birmingham rockers, The Clause, who are currently riding the wave of the success of their thrilling debut album ‘Victim of a Casual Thing’. The release went straight into the Independent Album Charts and number 1,
and featured in the top 20 in the UK Official Album Charts. At one point they were outselling Sabrina Carpenter.
Vocalist/guitarist Pearce Macca says, “Honoured to be headlining the iconic Bridlington Spa in April for This Feeling’s By The Sea festival. A ridiculous line up.”
Accompanying The Lilacs on the Friday, is The Rosadocs who continue the momentum of their EP release alongside a 2026 headline tour.
Girlband! will bring their visceral punk energy and intensity, alongside Cruz, The Cavs, The Cases and
Hannah Robinson.
On Saturday’s bill with The Clause, is The Bracknall. An exciting band that reached number 3 in the Independent Album Charts with their second record ‘Falling Out of View’ and headlined the This Feeling stage at Isle of Wight Festival.
Crystal Tides are bound to bring a full intensity show, along with the likes of The Slates, The Velvet Hands, Montello and Long Island.
The festival has expanded for 2026, now featuring the intimate Sessions Stage which allow fans the opportunity to get even closer to the stage and witness the artists up close.
Indie rock duo Dirty Blonde will be accompanied by Fitzroy Holt’s blend of poetic grace and chaos for the Friday, whilst the Saturday will include the trio brothers, Breeze, and Blackpool’s Alright.
As ever, This Feeling By The Sea 2026 will be boosted by three long-term allies and supporters. Soccer AM legend and LIFEJACKET podcast host Fenners will be the compere across the weekend, while new music champions Jericho Keys (BBC
Introducing) and John Kennedy (Radio X) will DJ on Friday and Saturday respectively.
This Feeling really do have their fingers on the pulse of new and rising artists and bands, and this lineup spotlights this perfectly. With 2 exciting headliners and a whole host of rising stars, it’s sure to be another memorable weekend on the
seaside.
