MAX AVOIDANCE – POISON – SINGLE RELEASE

Max Avoidance is the electronic pop passion project of London via Wales based Producer and Musician Hari Limaye.

Limaye’s music is a blend of psychedelic sounds and glitchy visuals, it’s dark and brooding yet filled with eternal hope. It’s a complex confection of contradictions and is uniquely – ‘Max Avoidance’.

For many years, Hari lived what was essentially a double life: balancing his studies at medical school, with moonlighting as a soundtrack composer to the high end fashion industry. Composing soundtracks for haute couture campaigns by fashion houses such as Hermes, Calvin Klein and Coach and scoring projects for Kendall Jenner amongst others.

From a young age he has been producing electronic, rap and gothic music, while building up his SoundCloud following. Hari has undergone a journey of both personal healing and growth, underpinned by determination and resilience. He has spent his time dedicating himself entirely to his music, honing his sonic craft by deriving inspiration from his own adverse lived experience. He is now ready to release that music into the world.

In the latter part of last year, Limaye released the dreamy, harmonious soundscape ‘Lightyear’ which was received to much acclaim from the likes of Travellers Tunes amongst others as well as global radio plays.

Following on from this, Max Avoidance is now back with his follow up single “Poison” which is a dark, atmospheric electronic track blending modulated bass, distorted synths, reverb infused guitars and an emotional yet detached vocal delivery. Built around themes of self-destruction, temptation, and emotional numbness, the song balances underground club energy with cinematic tension. Fans of moody alt-electronic and late-night drive playlists will connect with its cold, immersive soundscape.

“Poison” continues Max Avoidance’s sonic world—introspective, heavy and futuristic.

Limaye has said of his track:-

“I’ve spent the last few years honing my sonic craft, deriving inspiration from adverse lived experience. ‘Poison’ is the sound of me emerging through past turmoil and finding a new way of life.

It’s my third single – a concoction of atmospheric darkwave, experimental electronic dream pop and melodic emo-rap.

‘Poison’ was composed by Hari Limaye as Max Avoidance and features him on vocals, guitar, bass guitar and programming and Christian Marc on guitar and backing vocals. The track was further Mastered by Peter Maher and Mixed and engineered by Nick Brine (Oasis, Ash, The Darkness, Stereophonics, Stone Roses) at his studio in Wales.

‘POISON’ is released on the artist’s own ‘Catching Water’ Record Label.
