100 DAYS TO GO!
Download Festival has gone and done it again. Just when you thought the line-up couldn’t get any tastier, the second wave of artists has landed and it’s going to be one to remember!
Joining the bill this year are crowd-pleasers A Day To Remember, the ever-theatrical Creeper, and rock powerhouse Daughtry. If that wasn’t enough, we’re also getting Hot Milk, chaos merchants Silly Goose, returning favourites Marmozets, and Japanese rock sensations BAND-MAID.
Hardcore fans can look forward to Stampin’ Ground, while rising names like Frozemode, Conjurer, Annisokay, Private School and DECESSUS add even more bite to an already stacked weekend.
And here’s one for the gamers: THE PRIMALS, the official band of Final Fantasy XIV, will be performing outside of Asia for the very first time. Expect goosebumps, nostalgia and at least a few emotional singalongs from the Warrior of Light contingent.
As if the additions weren’t exciting enough, we’ve also been handed the all-important stage splits. Yes, it’s time to start planning timetables and emotionally preparing for the inevitable clashes.
For us at Songbird HQ, Sunday 14th June is looking particularly ferocious. It’s one of those days where every hour presents a dilemma and you’ll be legging it across Donington Park with a pint in hand, desperately trying to catch at least half a set before sprinting off again. Comfortable shoes are officially non-negotiable.

And if you were thinking of making a long weekend of it, you might need to move sharpish. The 5-day camping ticket option has already sold out. Not exactly surprising given the sheer strength of this year’s line-up.
3-day camping tickets are still available, so if you’re still yet to buy your ticket, we strongly advise you act sooner rather than later! With a line-up of this calibre and a schedule packed with unmissable sets, Download XXIII is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about editions. It would come as no surprise if the festival were to sell out completely well before the summer season begins.
