“Records For Palestine” is an online fundraiser featuring a charity raffle with over 250 donated indie and alternative vinyl records to support Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) in Gaza.
The initiative was set up to raise funds for MAP to enable them to provide immediate medical aid and support to the Palestinian healthcare system.
The funds will be raised via an online auction with over 250 vinyl records being donated by artists and labels alike.
The raffle is scheduled to take place on May 7th with winner being notified via email. Entrants must also have a a valid UK postal address to enter.

There will be two online raffles: one for alternative, indie and rock releases, and the other for jazz, soul and groove. Alongside Fontaines DC and Kneecap, other artists include Nilüfer Yanya, Geese, Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia, Billy Bragg, Yussef Dayes, Heartworms, Emma-Jean Thackray, Lambrini Girls and many more having donated a vinyl for the raffle.
Record labels such as Heavenly, Partisan Records, Speedy Wunderground, Cooking Vinyl, Alcopop, Gondwana, Brownswood and Habibi Funk have also agreed to donate to the raffle.

Speaking about the vinyl raffle, Records for Palestine said:
“Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness from the web to the stage. Records For Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support, allowing us to raise funds, whilst also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians.”

Fontaines D.C. have expressed strong support for Palestine over the years. The Dublin band teamed up with Massive Attack and Young Fathers for a Gaza benefit single in 2023, later saying that supporting Palestine “really is the responsibility of anyone with a voice”. The band also won $2000 on a viral TikTok music quiz, donating it to Doctors Without Borders in Palestine.
Kneecap have also spoken out alongside other bands such as Garbage and Massive Attack about their fears for Palestine Action prisoners on hunger strike in the UK.
