“GRITTY, SNARLING LYRCISM SPITTING HONEST TRUTHS WITH PUNCY POWERHOUSE VOCALS THAT’LL BLOW YOU AWAY. A STADIUM SIZED DIRTY ROCK N ROLL ANTHEM WITH MASS APPEAL FROM A RESOLUTELY UNAPOLOGETIC BAND WITH VISION AND DETERMINATION.”

‘Lies’ by Fever Dream is an anthem drenched in filth. The sinister baseline and Arctic Monkey’s AM era lead guitar marries perfectly with the lyrical despair that begins from the first note. Lyrically, Lies is woven in the notion that narcissistic relationships always fail to end when they’re supposed to. Many of us unfortunately know what it feels like to fall into a gaslighters spider web, and this song has a brutal but honest recollection of exactly that.
Lead singer Stars Walker says:
“if you listen to this song and it sounds like it’s about you, then the shoe not only definitely fits, but you probably need some fucking help”. Lies is a balls-to-the-wall diary entry for the damaged. Sing it from the top of your smoke laced lungs.”
Wrapped in “what it would sound like if Gaga fronted Muse” – Fever Dream are a 4 piece from Doncaster ferociously throwing their hat into the ring for ‘front woman of a generation’. The band, fronted by the fierce, unapologetic and “once in a 20 years voice” Stars Walker, is a beacon for the LGBTQ community both in voice, spirit and ideology. Completed with guitarist Matt Harrison, and bassist Noah Ling as the musical backbone to the undeniable ‘Fever Dream’ sound and tone. Layered in Tarantino-inspired cinematic sound scapes, stadium sized heartbreaking singalongs and chest thumping, dirty riff laden calls to arms, Fever Dream are a breath of fresh air for the anthemic alt-rock pop genre that is desperately begging for a front woman to take the helm, rip off the doors and welcome you to dream with them. Stars previous band Bang Bang Romeo press accolades includes BBC Radio 1 track of the week, Kerrang Radio, BBC Radio 2, 4, 6, Radio X and American & European Radio. Covers of Attitude Magazine, Metal Hammer Magazine, Metro & Clash.
