All of the bands on the line up for the Alive Tour previously played on the This Feeling Stage at this years Isle of Wight Festival where they wowed the crowds.

Since launch of the Alive Tour back in 2017, This Feeling have propelled up and coming artists and grass roots venues alike as well as gained themselves some high profile fans along the way.

“If you’re going to see the emergence of a new great band you’ll see them at This Feeling first.” Carl Barat

This Feeling are renowned for creating “The Zone” which is an exciting hub for new talent, showcasing new artists in over fifty cities and towns.

With artists like Inhaler, Black Honey, Tom Grennan, Gerry Cinnamon, The Struts and Yonaka in their impressive back catalogue, This Feeling really are the champions of new music.

Kicking off the Alive Tour 2021 proceedings we had:-

The Chase

Described as “daringly contagious” by Clunk Magazine, The Chase are a fun loving band who have been playing around together since they were just kids. They sold out their first home town headline gig in Nottingham back in August, and their music has featured both on ITV Sport and at football grounds. Definitely a band on the up!

“We are absolutely thrilled to be on the line up for the ‘Alive’ Tour, we will be sharing the stage with some class acts. We can’t wait to head back to Manchester and London and be playing our first ever show in York. Obviously we are most excited for our hometown show at Rough Trade, if its anything like our Rescue Rooms headliner, then we are in for an absolute stomper of a night! It’s gonna be a winter wonder zone!” The Chase

Our photographer Jeff Moh captured the band on the night and said “The Chase are a rocking band from Nottingham, who smashed it as the opener of the evening.”

The Chase’s most recent release “Death of Me” is an upbeat indie pop stomper despite its title and the band’s next single, ‘Set The World To Rights’ is due for release on the 26th November!

Coco And The Lost

Now this is a band with a story! claiming their first live show to be performing at this years Isle of Wight Festival, its no wonder that they were excited to be a part of the Alive Tour.

“I am beyond excited to be part of the ‘ALIVE’ tour. To get to play to crowds up and down the country, at iconic grassroots venues, alongside such great bands, it’s going to be unreal and really special. My band and I are going to give it everything and more. Cannot wait!” – Coco and The Lost

With a beautiful and emotive voice and a funky little, electric track that resonates with so many, “Crying in The Bathroom” its small wonder that this band were picked for the line up.

Photographer Jeff Moh commented of their set “a pop/rock set with awesome backing musicians.”

The Lilacs

Described by This Feeling Track of The Day sponsors Gigslutz as “Another red hot new band from Wigan set to soar” and with their debut single “Vicarage Road” amassing over 100,000 streams on Spotify this alone would seem to testify as to the credit of this band. That aside though, The Lilacs have also performed before a Manchester City Match, and supported both The K’s and The Sherlocks on tour.

The band have commented of their success this year:-

“It has been an unbelievable 2021 for us as a band and to be ending it by joining This Feelings “alive tour” seems like the perfect finish to lead us into 2022 on a massive high. Every gig we play we are seeing more and more people turning out to watch us and it is such a special feeling. To get the chance to join up with 3 other top bands and play in cities we have never played before is another quality opportunity for us to do what we love to do. We can’t wait to get out there…. This ones going off!” The Lilacs

Jeff Moh commented “This band really rocks, all their fans came running to the front!”

Serotones

Described by RadioX as “Jangly guitars, stomping beats and killer vocals“as featured on Soccer AM, being likened to The Stone Roses, Shed Seven and The Charlatans by Gigslutz, its clear to see that this band are something pretty special.

With regard to being asked to join the Alive Tour, the band had this to say:-

“With anticipation building up over a few years, we can finally start preparing for a little taster at life on the road. The Alive Tour is something we’ve always wanted to be part of and we finally have the chance to showcase our songs in venues and cities we’ve never played. Cheers to nights on the sofa and good times with new mates.” – Serotones

Jeff Moh commented of their set “A band to be seen again; they rock!”
