DREAMING ABOUT
CAVALCADE are the East London based four piece band made up of Connor Duggan (lead vocals/guitar), Jack Campbell (lead guitar/backing vocals), Tom Nunn (bass) and Steve Norris (drums). They are a band who certainly know how to delight the crowds with their unique blistering take on indie rock and roll.

Since the band’s inception in 2017, their success has snowballed seeing them taking their music from small home town gigs to large scale audiences both at home and internationally.
Having signed to Golden Robot Records in the summer of 2021 CAVALCADE now release their second single ‘Dreaming About’ on the label and the same is available on all major download and streaming platforms now.
The new track tells the story of a failed love affair. Despite being a reflective and somewhat nostalgic track lyrically, overall, from start to finish it’s a fast paced ferocious, delicious slice of indie rock. Perhaps emphasising the tumultuous nature of the relationship being portrayed. Whatever you hear in the meaning behind the song though, one things for sure, this track is going to go off when performed live!

The track received its first official spin in the UK this week from John Kennedy on his revered X-Posure show on Radio X.
Listen to “Dreaming About” for yourself here now.
Front man Connor Duggan has said of the track:
“‘Dreaming About’ was born out of a recognition of just how much two people can learn in a relationship. There are frustrations and longings that come from that reflection which brings an understanding that there are things that have irreversibly changed along the way.”
Cavalcade are a band we have been following on The Songbird for some time now and we are so proud of where these lads have come and are equally excited by the thought of the amazing future that undoubtedly lies ahead for them.
