FORGET IT ALL

Marseille are the Derby based four piece band consisting of Will Brown on Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Joe Labram on Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals, Lennon Hall on Bass/Backing Vocals and Tom Spray on Drums/Percussion.

Although only formed in 2021, the band have wasted no time in getting down to business showcasing an impressive momentum in releasing an envious four singles to date.

The latest single in the string of highly critically acclaimed releases from the band is the nostalgically charged ‘Forget It All’.

‘Forget It All’ showcases another dimension to the young talented band, having taken influence from Liverpool‘s 60s Merseybeat scene and 90s Britpop era, the new track is a nostalgic, dreamy pop anthem with its acoustic guitars, retro drum beats and melodic instrumental section. The songwriting belies the tender general age of the band with its maturity and sense of knowing.

‘Forget It All’ was written by Will Brown with the music being composed by Will Brown, Joe Labram and Tom Spray. The track  was recorded and produced by James Singleton and  will be released by ADR Records. Marseille are the first band to be signed to the Birmingham based record label.

‘Forget It All’ is the second single to be taken from the band’s upcoming EP which is set to be released in May 2022.

Marseille Guitarist Joe Labram has said of the track:

“This tune is quite meaningful to Will and Me. It is written about people who are quite stuck in their ways and aren’t willing to change for the better. We all know people like that don’t we? The Song is very much inspired by John Power’s Cast and The La’s. John and Lee Mavers songwriting is second to none.”
