MARSEILLE – HISTORY – NEW MUSIC RELEASE

Marseille mark a trumphant return with latest single “History.” in which lead singer Will Brown pictures a bright future where his name ends up being remembered and going down in history as one of the greats of his generation. With a powerful yet hopeful tone, the single is very reminiscent of many of the 90’s indie-rock royalty.

The track is which is anthemic and powerful is undoutedly a well-crafted song which is brought to life by Wolf Alice’s producer Michael Smith.

While “History” is a distinct meshing of alt-rock and emo, many of their other singles feature notes of shoegaze and folk, proving that this band having no problem with blurring lines and that they have the confidence to try new things.

Indeed with the gift of youth on their side and their infectious belief, coupled with that cheeky swagger that comes across in all their songs, that they will be names to remember could indeed come true!
