A mix of afro-soul and jazz sensibilities, from ethereal keys, polyrhythmic percussion and beats to punchy rap bars and playful delivery with a bongo flava style to the pure vibes of a soulful bass… the backgrounds and influences of everyone involved on this track are very different but that’s what makes this track work so well in its upbeat uniqueness – the ultimate summer sizzler!
Some time back now, musician, producer and songwriter Del Osei-Owusu (aka Platinum Mind) recruited the help of fellow British rapper and multi-hyphenate creative NX Panther. The idea was simple; to work on a collaborative project based on a mutual love and respect for each other’s work.
The project spanned time through a series of voicenotes, video calls, 3am beatmaking and early afternoon walks by the water; the conclusion being the joint track they are now releasing;‘Tell Me’.

Although the track has gone through multiple changes since its initial inception, it was when Del and Panther landed on the afro-soul summer vibe that we hear today, that they knew they were onto a sure fire winner!
The track was further buoyed up when they added an additional layer of sound by bringing Ikechukwu Onwuagbo in to play live bass to give the track some real bounce! The track was completed by Al Moghadam of Dirty Beast studio who added his sparkle by inventing pure “Easter Egg” sound nuggets into the mix. Mark Beazley finished the track off with his mastering genius, giving us the rounded, all consuming track that you hear today.
‘TELL ME’ releases on 11 September 2026 on Tava Records on all streaming platforms, with artwork shot on the coast of Southampton and a performance video with Del and Panther to follow.
