Brighton’s alt-rock/punk force, Creature Creature, comprised of Scully (lyrics/vocals), Zeus (guitar), Seb Cole (keyboard/backing vocals), Dave Cobley (bass), and Matt Hill (drums), debuted with a Two Finger Tantrum. Despite a pandemic-induced setback, they showed remarkable resilience, channelling their energy into their Tommy Gleeson (Feeder/Skindred)-produced EP, ‘The Noise’, featuring a collaboration with Billy Lunn (The Subways).
Renowned for a dynamic sound that draws from diverse influences like Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes to The Clash, their music is a combination of modern beats and old-school rock.
2027 will see the release of their second album (mixed by Chris Sheldon — responsible for Foo Fighters classics ‘Everlong’ and ‘My Hero’), along with shows and festivals UK-wide.
Creature Creature is a perfect example of how true DIY artists with enough passion and belief can make things happen!
So how did they get Billy Lunn involved?
Scully had been following Billy Lunn (The Subways) on socials for a while, and when he found out Billy was recording with bands, he reached out to see if they could work together. Not only was Billy on board for recording an EP with Creature Creature, he offered his vocals as a feature on the lead single, ‘The Noise’. You will never have heard Billy like it on any of his other work…

About The Song
‘The Noise’ is Creature Creature’s anti-manosphere anthem. There’s nothing wrong with many aspects of what it is to be a man in the traditional sense, but there’s so many hyped up, jumped up egotistical meatheads trying to set equality back sixty years and we don’t like the taste of their bacon. ‘The Noise’ itself is the sound of them putting their bigoted views out there for all to see and how such an outlook should deter anyone with any common sense.
