Manchester’s indie four-piece The Falls have released their second EP, ‘Would You Do It All Over Again?’, via Revo Pro, alongside the EP’s final single ‘Blink’, completing the band’s most ambitious release to date.
Things have moved quickly for The Falls. Since forming in 2023, they’ve built a reputation through relentless gigging, packed hometown shows and songs that found an audience long before they were ever recorded. February 2026 saw the band headline the iconic Manchester Academy, their biggest hometown show to date, before selling out their November headline show at Gullivers in under 24 hours, prompting the addition of a second intimate date at The Castle Hotel to meet demand. The Falls combine soaring guitar hooks, infectious melodies and sharp storytelling into a sound that feels nostalgic without ever sounding dated.
Their second EP ‘Would You Do It All Over Again?’ captures their growing momentum and brings together recent singles ‘Open Fire’, ‘The Other Side’ and ‘Loaded Gun’. Although the EP is new, much of the material has already developed a life on stage. Several of its tracks have been part of the band’s live set long before entering the studio, allowing their songs to grow naturally in front of audiences before committing them to record. More confident, ambitious and emotionally broader than its predecessor, the five-track EP documents a band growing up without losing the immediacy that made people pay attention in the first place.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Luke Owens (SHADE, Montello, The Sprats), ‘Would You Do It All Over Again?’ builds on the foundations laid by 2025’s debut EP ‘Viva La Falls’, which has since amassed over 100,000 streams and earned early support from Radio X’s John Kennedy. Across its five tracks, the EP explores themes of uncertainty, ambition, consequence and perspective, pairing soaring hooks with sharp, observational songwriting that feels equally indebted to the swagger of The Courteeners, the melody of The Kooks and the charisma of Jake Bugg, wearing their influences loud while carving out an identity of its own.
The record moves from uncertainty and frustration towards acceptance and optimism. Open Fire and The Other Side capture lives in transition, while Loaded Gun – inspired by Martin Scorsese’s The Departed – forms the emotional centrepiece, confronting the difficulty of escaping the past. Closing tracks City Lights and Blink shift the focus towards new beginnings, ending the EP with a reminder of how quickly life’s defining moments can pass. The shift is structural and deliberate. Rather than treating the songs as isolated moments, The Falls shapes the EP as a single emotional arc, with concise arrangements, restless pacing and choruses that land like a shove in the chest.
Discussing the album, vocalist Harrison Sharp says, “This EP is us releasing our next chapter. Our first EP was us finding our feet, this chapter has been about us stamping down on who we are. Every song is a page out of Manchester, out of the sweat and the stages we cut our teeth on. We’re not trying to relive someone else’s experience, we’re just rewriting it in our own way lyric by lyric, song by song, and experience by experience. It’s reminiscent of where we started, but it reminds you exactly where we’re headed, relentless is the only word for it, really. Would we do it all over again? Absolutely and 100 times after. Hopefully this is just the beginning.”
Alongside the EP comes its closing single ‘Blink’ also on September 18th. Inspired by the phrase ‘Blink and you’ll miss it’, the track reflects on the fast-paced nature of a young modern life and how easily life’s defining moments can slip away unnoticed. Built around the lyric, ‘She gets high off a moment, so high, super fast rollercoaster’, it captures both the excitement and impermanence of youth. Rather than dwelling on nostalgia, ‘Blink’ closes the EP with a simple message: sometimes the most important moments are the easiest to miss, life passes quickly, embrace every moment that presents itself; one blink is all it takes to miss something extraordinary.
On the single, Sharp explains: “You blink and it’s gone. This scene, this stage, this chapter. So many good people have come before us, and ‘Blink’ reminds us to hold onto it while we can, because it’s relentless and it doesn’t wait. It’s reminiscent of everything that got us here, of the heritage of the Manchester music scene, but it’s already looking forward, re-written the second you look away.”
‘Would You Do It All Over Again?’ will be supported by an extensive UK headline tour throughout September and November, before heading to Italy for their first European dates.
