CAT NOVA is the Kent based singer/ songwriter who has been mesmersing listeners with her dreamy alt indie pop rock piano based haunting melodies focused on themes of love and loss.

Her story telling narratives easily resonate with listeners depicting real life lived experiences laced with tales of new found love and reflecting on tales of past doomed romanticism.

With ‘Heaven When Its Easy’ Cat Nova tugs on the heart strings with a tale of love lost and the realisation that sometimes love alone simply isn’t enough. The tune is light in melody and darkly cineatic in its lyrics making it a very bittersweet and stirring track. It’s a hauntingly beautiful tune surrounds the listener like a spell being cast. It sweeps you up in its easy laid back approach while at the same time astounding you with its poignancy. It’s a tune that will stay with you long after the track has finished playing.

With previous releases of ‘Parrallell World‘ and ‘IFLY’ Cat Nova demonstrated her clear musical ability and knack of being able to capture her audiences attention from the very first piano notes sounding out. The opening bars of the tinkling piano in all three releases to date showcase a unqiue soundscape setting the scene for those crystal clear and ever so sweet vocals to take full and powerful effect.

CAT NOVA has said of her latest release:-

“Sometimes songs just download into my head while I’m driving or walking. The melody and lyrics arrive almost fully formed, and I have to quickly record a voice note before they disappear. Other times, writing lyrics is a way of processing emotions and experiences before the music follows.”

‘Heaven When Its Easy’ was recorded at The Albion Rooms in Margate, and was engineered and produced by Jason Stafford (The Libertines, Jamie T, Pigeon, Dirty Pretty Things, Beans on Toast)
