The debut single from the young Geordie, ANDREW CUSHIN called “Its Gonna Get Better” is released today (21.02.20). It’s only been out a matter of mere hours, but is already causing quite a stir with This Feeling/Gigslutz making it their Track of the Day and with many other music publications, including ourselves, wanting to bring you the scoop on this eagerly anticipated release.

So what do we think of “Its gonna get better” ? Its a beautiful, melodic song carrying the listener along on the soulful sounds of Andrew’s serene and clean yet hypnotic vocals. It’s a gentle and relaxing track incorporating acoustic guitar and light drums and we can certainly hear influence from the likes of fellow Geordie Sam Fender and Jake Bugg.

This debut release forms part of a two track EP entitled “Waiting for the Rain”. The songs are penned by Andrew and are both produced by Sean Genocky who has previously worked with the likes of The Who, Roger Daltrey Richard Ashcroft to name but a few.
Andrew is due to start touring soon with several dates already sold out. He is also due to support Alan Mcgee’s Creation23 Label, favourites, The K’s on their upcoming tour. You can see Andrew Cushin on the following Dates/Venues.
