Next up in our Best of 2020 Series we have the Earlstown four piece, The K’s.
Due for tour in April 2021 the lads have certainly kept themselves busy during 2020. The band who cite their influences to be The Jam, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Stiff Little Fingers plus many more were signed to Alan Mcgee’s record label Creation 23 in 2019 and since then have not let anything hold them back..even 2020!
The band The Ks are made up of Jamie Boyle, Ryan Breslin, Dexter Baker, and JJ Holden and their last single release of 2020 ‘TV’ provided us with bouncing riffs and a catchy chorus which had us hooked at first listen perfectly encapsulating the bands amazing buzz and energy they have about them.
Selling out shows up and down the country these lads are definitely not ones to miss live and we can only imagine the sort of party that their comeback show will be like when they are back on stage in front of yet another no doubt, sell out audience.
Keeping up the morale and giving their fans a taste of whats to come The K’s have been involved with Scotts Menswear Xmas Live Campaign performing previously unreleased and unheard of track ‘Hoping Maybe’ – as well as becoming models for the brand. . They also didn’t sit back on their laurels at all in 2020, continuously keeping themselves busy by hosting a series of live stream sessions, Live Face Book chats with their fans and even a talent show!
2021 will hopefully see these lads back in front of their fans and doing what they do best and making a crowd move like a tidal wave at their sell out shows.
Starting hopefully with a tour from them in April 2021.
Watch the official video for TV here now.
2020 should of seen this band catapulted into he stratosphere of superstardom, but obviously this was put on hold somewhat. Watch out in 2021 though, as this will be the year of The K’s world wide take over, of that we are in no doubt!
