RUNAWAY
SHADER are the Manchester based band made up of Stu Whiston on Vocals & Guitar, Mike Lo Bosco on Lead Guitar, Daz Edwards on Bass and Tom Turney on Drums. Today, Friday 12th March, sees the release of their brand new single entitled Runaway.

The single is being released on 42s Records and is available on all digital download and streaming platforms as well as on limited edition frosted clear 7ins vinyl which also features the track “True to Life” You can order the limited edition vinyl Here Now

The track was written by Stuart Whiston, recorded by Gavin Monaghan (Blinders / Editors / The Sherlocks /The Twang) at Magic Garden Studio and Mixed by Joe Murray.
Following on from their last digital single release “True To Life” this new release is a fresh new sound for the band showcasing a more raw and powerful offering.
The track starts off as it means to go on with electrifying guitars and frenzied drumming. It’s a powerhouse anthem of a tune which further secures SHADER into the realms of great indie rock n roll.

front man Stu Whiston has said of the new track:
“Runaway is about the anxiety of everyday life, real vs. fake, the upsurge of talentless TV celebrity culture becoming a legitimate career move and the overwhelming desire to runaway to somewhere with some soul. It was written in a flat in Didsbury, Manchester and I was working at Blockbuster Video, spending all my spare time watching classic films (perks of the job), daytime TV and becoming obsessed with 80’s post-punk band The Sound. The guitar intro & feel are my nod to the genius of Adrian Borland of The Sound”

SHADER have plans for a UK tour this coming August and also have plans to release an album at some point during the year as well.
