SO COLD LOVE
Docksuns are the indie Rock n Roll quintet who are back with their latest offering “So Cold Love”.

“So Cold Love” is a track that tells the tale reminiscing about a past bad relationship that they are trying to move on from.
This latest track is a sequel of sorts and ‘So Cold Love’ continues on from the band’s previous track ‘Blew Up a Kiss’. Its a track of progression for the band who were keen to explore and delve further into new concepts as they grow and mature taking inspiration from their own personal experiences.

Although the track was written by vocalist James, it quickly became a collaborative labour of love for the band, with each band member having input before they entered the studio with it.
“So Cold Love” has a definite 90’s retro vibe to it with its pop-esque synth sounds punctuated with perfectly paired down vocals. The track rises in peaks and troughs throughout leading to the swell of a harmonious chorus hook that results in a buzzing crescendo at the point finalisation. It’s a track that as soon as it’s over, you want to replay it again and again.

Docksuns have been making a name for themselves with their knack for consistent solid songwriting and banging tunes with ‘So Cold Love’ being no exception. Their hard work is starting to be noticed, with their fan base rapidly spreading away from their home town base of Sunderland, their features on the likes of BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, as well as numerous reviews from music blogs up and down the country.
With the return of live music just around the corner, Docksuns are gearing up for a season of gigs, in venues such as Independent in Sunderland and Think Tank in Newcastle.
