SHE ROCKS MY SOUL
REGENT are the four piece indie rock band hailing from Southampton consisting of Ben Rooke on vox Chris Woolf on Lead Guitar/Keys/Piano, Luke Trundell on Bass/guitar and George Grattan on Drums.
The band admit that their sound is derived from taking inspiration from the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and the many magnificent Brit pop acts that have come before them. Regent clearly revel in the works of those past masters carrying their legacy on to a new generation with their reminiscent, yet updated sound based on a true classic.
Regent received much criticism acclaim for their last single “Just A Revolution” receiving airplay across the globe with plays from BBC Introducing, Radio X, Amazing Radio, and SiriusXM in America.
They’ve also been making waves across the blogosphere too, with the band being praised by such reputable publications as Louder Than War, Ear Milk, Gigslutz.

Regent are a band that have a large and devoted local fanbase making them well accustomed to sell-out shows in their hometown of Southampton and word is now quickly spreading to other corners of the UK and beyond too.
The band are now back with their latest offering in ‘She Rocks My Soul’.
The new track is a musicial whirlwind Jam-packed tune with a grungy, sonic guitar hooks and raspy emotionally provocative vocals. Front man Ben Rooke has said of the song;
The track is a song written about my fiance who I had to fight hard for to get her over here from India, after her returning to see her parents in September last year. We’ve been together a couple of years now, and she’s the reason I got back into music. The song is about the enormous positive effect she’s had on my life the last couple of years, how I’ve changed and become more dedicated and focused on music. It’s an upbeat in your face rock n roll love song dedicated to my beautiful fiance…”
It’s definitely a summer anthem of stratospheric proportions. A rock n roll love song that will fill the hearts of many a lover.
