LFTW (Living for the Weekend) is the single from Walsall singer/songwriter Jack Cattell.

Spending the majority of his career from 2017 as a solo artist, having graced some of the finest stages across the midlands including the 02 academy and the Institute in Birmingham, Cattell is now joined by a band members Alyson Knott, Josh Reid and Anton Guttridge with LFTW as their first release.

The band compliment Cattell’s lyrics perfectly, with an upbeat tempo and guitar riffs that breeds positivity.

LFTW, Written by Cattell last year to celebrate coming out of lockdown. The song resonates with having a few beers and waking with regrets the next morning, but repeating the actions the very next weekend.

Cattell is able to write of age old issues, with lyrics that many will find familiar and insightful to issues we all face in today’s world, and is hoping to have his tunes blasting out in house parties and sang in pubs nationwide when restrictions are lifted.

Cattell has showed his annoyance with the postponed easing of restrictions on his twitter account. Jack Cattell is definitely one to watch in the future, with his upbeat charm which will no doubt lift any crowds mood.
