The Clause are the Midlands based band who have just released their sixth sure fire hit single entitled “Cruella”
The four piece band are no strangers to music success having previously gained themselves a top spot in the iTunes rock chart as well as #44 in the UK Independent Charts with their previous hit “Time Of Our Lives”.
The latest offering from the band “Cruella” is a modern day indie rock assault on our senses, with its heavy glam rock vibe, reverbing guitars and fuzzy bass notes interspersed punchy lyrics, perfectly timed and delivered with a passion and deliberate force. It’s a huge track that has long been a firm fan favourite performed live and has now found its way to an official release.
The track “Cruella” is about a female who spell binds and controls everyone around about her. Front Man “Pearce Macca” tells of her as being “as rare as a million dollar bill” and “always going out of her way to get a rave on”. “There’s nobody like my Cruella De Ville” – A female powerhouse who will always have you under her spell. It’s a monster of a track.”
Given the persistent high quality of the tracks released by this band, its not hard to see why The Clause have gained themselves fans in the form of producer Skream and frontman of Jane’s Addiction, Perry Farrell. The Clause have further just announced that they are set to support Australia mega band DMA’S on their UK tour.
