A band that I can see opening for the likes of Sam Fender, Catfish and Miles Kane in 2022, ‘The Kairos’ are back with their hotly anticipated rock ‘n’ roll smasher ‘Round The Bend’. Listen here
The scouse quartet might have kept us patiently waiting for new tunes during the pandemic but was it worth the wait?
Absolutely it was.
‘Round The Bend’ starts with your classic drum stick countdown before progressing into what can only be described as a hedonistic floor filler. The kind of song I’d like to hear after a few ciders in the sunshine.
The tune was produced and mixed at the Motor Museum studio in Liverpool with sound engineer Loic Gillard, who the band have a great working history with.
Looking into 2022 the lads are busier than ever with a diary full of new releases and gigs TBA Kicking off in January with the release of ‘Round The Bend’ on the 14th followed by the accompanying music video via their Youtube channel on the 15th – Linked here
We can also expect brand spanking new merch on 17th, an appearance on the Tenthpint podcast on the 19th and tickets for The Kairos 25th of Feb Hometown show at Heebie Jeebies, are on sale from the 24th of January and that’s just the start!
Guitar music makes me very happy and getting to find bands like The Kairos through the genre is a huge treat. They are a band I can see becoming a firm favourite amongst many, especially the team at here at The Songbird HQ.
