‘LAZY LETHARGIC’
The Liverpool lads are look set to steal the summer of 2022 with their “Scuzzed up, fuzzed up scouse rock and roll” and the recent new release ‘Lazy Lethargic’ further cements that notion as its a track which feels almost purpose built for packed tents and festival stages with canons of cider flying overhead. High octane verses are coupled with a rousing chorus that will grab you and take hold at first listen and then refuse to let you go!

Although its clear that this track is heavily influenced by the likes of Arctic Monkeys and I can definitely hear influences of The Coral, its still managed to take on a fresh sound that The Kairos are truly making their own.
The track was recorded and mixed with up-and-coming producer Ben Harper, fresh from working on the Mysterines top ten album ‘The Reeling’, and was mastered by engineer Loic Gillard at the Motor Museum in Liverpool.

I think its fair to say that The Kairos kicked off 2022 on a mission with a plan to start the year as they intend to continue it. They’ve made a remarkable comeback with a sold out Liverpool headline show, have gained national radio play from Radio x’s John Kennedy, been added to Spotify editorial playlist ‘Fresh Finds Rock’ and have supported underground heroes, The Skinner Brothers on their massive sold out tour.
‘Lazy Lethargic’ was released on all DSP on Friday 22 April.
