BAD INTENTIONS

Fresh off the back of supporting some major names within the industry and their own sell out This Feeling Headline tour, Darlings are now back with the first offering from their upcoming debut EP.

DARLINGS are the four piece band from Bishops Stortford consisting of Steve Marriott on Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Bailey Burnett on Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals, Liam Hunt on Lead Guitar and Cameron Burnett on Drums.

They are a band that embody every element of good ole Rock n’ Roll, bringing a zesty combination of energetic rawness and glamorous melodies to their dynamic live shows. Darlings sit comfortably within the genre next to modern indie popularities while still ringing true to quintessential guitar music of the past.

Having supported iconic figures such as The Libertines’ Carl Barat and Johnny Lloyd of Tribes, Darlings have most recently supported up-and-coming rockers The Sherlocks on their UK tour. 

After also selling out their own first UK headline This Feeling club tour through London, Brighton and Nottingham, Darlings are now back with their latest offering, the sublimely delicious rock n roll future classic, ‘Bad Intentions’.

‘Bad Intentions’ is a guitar riff laden melody with sonic, cymbal heavy drum beats coupled with clever, 60’s inspired vocals that make this tune so catchy that you can’t help tapping your toes and singing along from first listen. It’s one of those songs that will stay in your head long after it’s finished in the best possible way. 

‘Bad Intentions’ is the lead single to be taken from the band’s  upcoming debut EP which is to be announced shortly and the  upbeat anthem has proved to be a crowd favourite when performed live at recent sold out shows with new music tastemakers, This Feeling. 

Darlings  have said of the track:-

“Bad Intentions is an honest portrayal of a lovers tiff, going back to something that you know is no good for you but you can’t help but go back.”

The track was written by the band collaboratively and was recorded at The Libertines HQ in Margate, The Albion Rooms. The track was Mixed and Produced by Jason Stafford.
