SUPERMAN

MS&TBT are back with their uplifting new single ‘Superman’

The perfect song for, it’ll be pleasing festival crowds up and down the country and it’s also ready made for an arena setting, which is just as well, as the band seem to be getting a taste for than environment these days!

The West Lothian five piece return with a track laden with hooks and soaring guitar solo’s, with Mark’s vocals, soulful in parts raucous in others, pulling it all together.

There’s also a nod to Metronomy who the band covered during lockdown, with Mark telling me at the time, keyboard player Darren was a big fan of the Nu-Disco, Indietronica group.

Mark says the song is about being there for someone no matter what, with the ‘electric skies’ mentioned in the lyrics signifying the hard times that life can bring.

‘Superman’ follows on from previous single ‘Last Dance’ and fresh off the completion of a 12 date arena tour supporting good friend Lewis Capaldi, the band have also supported The Snuts and Kyle Falconer as well as headline shows including Glasgow’s King Tuts and St Luke’s
