Away Fans blur the lines between indie-rock and dance, blending the grit of London’s restless nightlife with the rush of a warehouse rave.

After sweat-soaked UK and New York runs, the band continues to bring their high-voltage energy to the basements, dance floors, and fields of the UK, igniting raw emotion, pounding beats, and unstoppable momentum.
Formed in the early part of the 2020’s AWAY FANS consists of Tom Fisher on vocals, Alice Seymour on vocals Alex Boffey on guitar, and synth, David Lewins on Bass and vocals and Matt Foley on Drums.
The band were quite prolific with their 2025 releases of ‘Take’ in March ‘Honey EP’ in June and ‘Keeping On’ in October of the same year. All of which were well received by radio and press alike.
Their first single release this year, ‘Perfect Moment’ is an ode to messy nights and hungover mornings with the people you love. It’s a celebration of youthful stupidity and hedonism, as well as the long-lasting connections that get made along the way.
Having signed to boutique artist label Bubblebrain Records during this year’s Great Escape Festival, the band now release their first single under the tastemaker label in ‘Lights Out’
Lights Out is a late-night collision of indie and liquid d’n’b, written for anyone who’s ever gone back when they knew they shouldn’t. The song is about bad decisions and toxic rendezvous.
The track utilises having two singers telling both sides of the story, mixing spoken word with more traditional vocals inspired by those early 2000s summer d’n’b records.
With this song, the band have tried to push the indie-d’n’b crossover vibe they started playing with on their previous single ‘Keeping On’ even further, mixing in live guitar, bass, and drums, with programmed breakbeats and synths to try and build something that would fully sit in both a sweaty dive bar venue and a club space.
