Standard Issue, London’s brit-rock four piece, are finally releasing their long-awaited debut single.
Following a year of gigging and establishing themselves in the London scene, ‘Last Night’ was released into the world on the 31st July.
Commanding attention, the debut single opens with a raw, powerful riff confirming what we’ve been thinking – rock music is back. The memorable chorus, brit-pop spark, and empowering classic rock influences fuse together to create something new, whilst still being reminiscent of the nostalgic feel of rock n’ roll that we know and love.
The track is also released alongside an independently produced music video, demonstrating a strong collaboration with independent director, Leonardo Filippini.
Standard Issue are setting their sights on conquering the London music scene having featured on Hoxton Radio and playing sold-out shows including the Lexington alongside Hot Property, and performing for Everywhere At Once Fest with Music Venues Trust.
The band cite their sound as being “punchy riffs, youthful British romanticism, and energetic live performances – all in the same vein as; Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, or Dire Straits” They are currently planning their single release party on Friday 7th August at Slim Jim’s Liquor Store in the city and fans are advised to check out the band’s socials for further info.
