Elephant Kind are kicking off 2026 with four new tracks, taken from their upcoming third studio album More Time, along with a live performance of the same tracks – cementing their artistry and new material in the global spotlight. Blending genre-bending alternative indie with sharp pop sensibility, Elephant Kind have built a signature sound shaped by their journey from Jakarta to London and beyond.

Comprised of Bam Mastro (vocals, guitar), Bayu Adisapoetra (drums), and Kevin Septanto (bass), the band channel years of movement, personal growth, and sonic experimentation into music that feels both borderless and deeply grounded. Their innovative approach has earned them growing critical acclaim at home and internationally, with momentum that continues to build as the band realise their worldwide ambition.

“PLAN”, “HOOKED”, “STRANGEST THING” & “EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED” OUT NOW

The four new releases introduce the more upbeat, dance side of the band, accompanied with a live video of the same tracks, filmed and recorded in Jakarta. Plan” and “Exactly What I Needed” were produced by Bam Mastro, while “Hooked” and “Strangest Thing” were co-produced with Iain Berryman (Arcade Fire, Wolf Alice, Beabadoobee, Sam Fender, Young Fathers) and engineered by Drew Dungate-Smith at Narcissus Studios in London. It was mixed by Robert Adam Stevenson (QOTSA, Techincolours, Jeff Beck, KT Tunstall) and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios in London. Built on striking lyricism and dynamic production, These four new tracks capture Elephant Kind at their most honest and sonically adventurous, bridging introspection, urgency, and catharsis.

ABOUT MORE TIME – released 27 March 2026
The trio began developing More Time throughout 2023 to 2025, a period of significant transformation for the band, and now return with their most personal and expansive record to date. More Time, their third studio album, is a genre-blurring exploration of transformation, longing, and the relentless pursuit of meaning in a world that moves too fast.

Written between the sprawling chaos of Jakarta and the introspective quiet of London, the album marks a pivotal chapter for the band. Creatively self-produced and mixed, More Time stands as a testament to resilience, growth, and unfiltered honesty. It is the sound of a band shedding their past skins while holding tightly to the lessons learned along the way.

More Time represents both a departure and a natural evolution for Elephant Kind. It captures a group fully stepping into their identity, unafraid to fuse alt-rock roots with breakbeats and melancholic ballads with dance-floor catharsis. This album does not simply ask for more time; it demands full attention.

The album was produced by Bam Mastro, with Iain Berryman co-producing three tracks including “Man Enough.” The record was made at Narcissus Studios London and Premises Studios London before the trio returned to Jakarta to complete it. It was mixed by Robert Adam Stevenson and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios in London.

We’re so happy to finally share our first single in 6 years that leads into a full album. We’ve released songs here and there over the past few years, but this time we’re holding a complete record we truly believe in, finally on the horizon, ready to be received and heard by the world.

More Time is Hip Hop, House, Rock, Eastern, Dance, and more genres we can’t even put into words, a twist and turn of frequencies pulling you from one realm to the next. An innovation.”says Bam Mastro, from Elephant Kind
