Last week, 500 Fat Dog fans descended upon Bermondsey for an incendiary outdoor pop-up show dubbed Woofstock. Reports are unconfirmed as to whether band member Chris Hughes was nude in homage to Flea’s Woodstock 1999 appearance though!

The band have also just released the seething “Call It What You Want”, a thrilling whirlwind of post-punk fury and rave-y synths, just crowned Hottest Record on Radio 1. It’s the fourth single to be taken from their upcoming second album Cancel Me (I’m Tired) – out Oct 2nd via Domino.

Talking about “Call It What You Want”, frontman Joe Love says: “That’s me looking at people in my family and their problems and thinking, ‘Is it gonna be the same for me? Is it in my DNA?’” The video was shot at Woofstock during the band’s performance of “Call It What You Want” – tune into the chaos.

Alongside the new single, Fat Dog have confirmed their first ever tour in Australia plusfurther outstoresin Novemberand later this month will bring their thrilling live show to Radio 1’s New Music Live: Cardiff.

With Cancel Me (I’m Tired), Fat Dog have created an exhilarating, swaggering, panoramic, inventive, re-inventive, re-re-inventive electro-punk-art-pop-rock’n’roll-space-country triumph that deserves all the adjectives.
