New Studio Album Warning Signs
Out January 15th, 2027 via AWAL

Following a rapturous sold-out Brixton Academy headline show last week, and the announcement his third album, Warning Signs – out January 15th, 2027 via AWAL – James Marriott makes yet another huge statement with the unveiling of his 2027 touring plans, which includes what will be a truly special night at London’s OVO Wembley Arena on April 9th.

James will take to the road and make his way through 42 dates across the UK, US & Europe, performing some of the biggest shows of his career. Tickets will be available here – UK & EU Pre-Sale: 9am BST / 10am CEST on 28th Sep &North America Pre-Sale: 9am (local) on 28th Sep. UK & EU General Sale: 9am BST / 10am CEST on 2nd Oct & North America General Sale: 9am (local) on 2nd Oct. Full list of dates below.

£1 from every ticket sold will be donated to War Child UK, supporting their work to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children affected by war.

The announcement arrives after James played a huge, sold-out headline show at O2 Academy Brixton – announcing the new album live onstage to fervent excitement both in the room & online – just as he did for the Brixton show during his Reading Festival set just two weeks ago. New single ‘Burn Down The Disco’ has already received high praise and was crowned BBC Radio 1’s ‘Track Of The Week’ on release.

The connection with his audience remains at the heart of James’s story. From his debut hometown show at Brighton’s The Electric in October 2022, when a small room erupted into a communal roar, to the sold-out Roundhouse shows and now his headline Brixton debut, his live performances have become spaces where intensely private emotions are transformed into collective release.

Warning Signs was written and recorded during a period of extraordinary momentum. Following the UK Number 1 chart-topping success of his second album Don’t Tell The Dog and #17-charting 2023 debut Are We There Yet?, he’s spent the past year performing to increasingly large audiences across the UK and internationally – appearing at Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Lollapalooza & Electric Picnic, while taking his headline shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia – where he will perform a near fully sold-out headline tour in October. He capped off an incredible year with two sold-out shows at London’s Roundhouse, before returning to the studio to begin work on the album that would become Warning Signs.

Across its 11 tracks, Warning Signs charts the anticipation and the rush of new desires, through the dizzying heights of obsession, before tumbling headlong into the aftermath of a relationship ending. At the centre of it is James Marriott’s fascination with the split second when a song suddenly snaps into focus – the moment when everything clicks and “pop magic” happens.

This album, it’s all ‘moment-based’ for me,” James explains. “For a song to latch into my head, there has to be a moment where I think, ‘Oh yeah, this is amazing.’ I can pick out something in every track on the record that gives me that feeling.”

‘California Rain’ earned Marriott his first Top 40 single, while his rapid rise has seen him receive support from BBC Radio 1, land covers with Dork, House of Solo, and Rock Sound, and receive Rock Sound’s Breakthrough Artist Award towards the end of 2025.

Warning Signs is James Marriott at his most engrossing: jagged, romantic, euphoric and emotionally unrestrained. As he takes his touring and live performances to yet another level, James is arriving as an artist who has never been more certain of who he is.
