From the opening bars of the electronic beat to the sound of trumpets playing and the rhythmic drumming throughout, this nineties reminiscent, punk vibe tune, is an absolute banger and sure to be a massive hit!

The first time I played this song, I knew I liked it. So much so, that I played it again immediately and again and again! Its not often I come across a tune that resonates with me so much that its pure love on first listen.

So, who exactly are this band who have won me over so much!?

The Social Room advised me that the Band first formed about 4 years ago. Over those years the line-up has altered and evolved and they’ve now settled on their winning formula which consists of Matty (Vocals), Adam (Guitar), Simon (Guitar) Alex (Bass), Chris (Keys) and Tim (Drums).

When I learn of the number of members to this band, I wasn’t surprised that their music packs such a punch. Its certainly a tune to capture your attention and make you sit up and listen.

When asked who their musicals influences are Alex from the band commented:

“We listen to all different things really, but the likes of The Beatles, Oasis, Stone Roses, DMA,s etc, everyone in the band really likes”

The new single “Its Not Goodbye” has just been released by the band and is available on all the usual channels including Spotify and YouTube.

Social Room recently played at the This is Tomorrow Festival in Newcastle  where they were on the bill with some huge names such as Noel Gallagher, The Editors and Glasvegas.

The Band have got a busy time coming up with several “This Feeling” gigs lined up. They played The Lending Room in Leeds on the 18th May and are also playing at the Isle of Wight Festival on the 16th June. There is loads of major dates and gigs ahead for these boys so be sure to check out their socials below.

This Band are certainly on their way to achieving great things and I for one, can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
