New Single Review –Space Man’

Today (30 November) sees the release of the brand new and eagerly anticipated next single from the lively seven piece band from the West Midlands: Marquis Drive.

“Spaceman” is the third release from the band this year adding to their previous releases of the chart topping “Proud” (which was a personal favourite of Chris Moyles on Radio X) and “Truth Don’t Shock”.

Following on from the powerhouse anthems of “Proud” and “Truth Don’t Shock” , the new release “Spaceman” is a track full of the band’s now trademark high octane, boundless lust for life energy coupled with their sheer melodic potency for creating belting tunes. Combine this recipe together and you’ve got a track on your hands with the potential for massive popular appeal. Its a feel-good track in abundance which is what we all need right now yeah! and I guarantee will have you singing “Everybody loves a Spaceman” long before the song is out.

Listen to the new track “Spaceman” and watch the official video here now.

Live gigs have certainly taken a knock during recent months, which has been undoubtedly hard for the band given that being on stage is where they really come to life and into their own, but the good times are gonna roll again and Marquis Drive are thrilled to have landed themselves a slot at the Creation Day Festival (linked here) next May where they will be playing alongside the likes of Editors and The Happy Mondays in what looks set to be one of the biggest festivals of the year.
