CRUEL HEARTS CLUB
Cruel Hearts Club kept our grunge girl gang dreams alive throughout 2020 with three massive singles; Dirty Rotten Scum, Suck It Up and Blame Me Too. The band have consistently wowed listeners with their riotous and grungey punk-pop tracks- Cruel Hearts Club are the cheerleaders we want on our team as we head into 2021!

Having supported the likes of The Libertines, Iggy Pop and Sting, Cruel Hearts Club have captured a sound which should please indie, pop and punk fans alike. Their latest nostalgia-tinged track Dirty Rotten Scum was released in September 2020, produced by The Libertines’ Carl Barat and mastered at Abbey Road. A love song that paints a rough-around-the-edges dreamscape of Edie’s romance with fiancé Carl, it may have you longing for end-of-the-night snogs under glitter balls on sticky dance floors.

The band have previously played the Isle of Wight Festival, Camden Rocks and Hit The North, so I’m sure they’re eager and ready to get back into the festival spirit (aren’t we all?) We’re looking forward to seeing Cruel Hearts Club join Sting at his London Palladium residency in June, and keeping our fingers crossed for some raucous and personal headline shows soon.
In what was obviously a difficult year for all, Cruel Hearts Club have made big strides, and there’s no doubt they’ll be onto even greater things in the coming months. After all, keeping up so much momentum through a pandemic is no easy feat.

If you’re a fan of bands like Black Honey or The Beths, are nostalgic for the heyday of Hole, or fantasise about being a bad b*tch road tripping through the desert a la Thelma & Louise, definitely give Cruel Hearts Club a spin.
